Team USA slaps Canada on the ass and says “Who’s your daddy?”

Wow, I think I just watched the best Olympic hockey game of my life.  I never saw the miracle on ice, and I never saw USA beat Canada in 1960.  But I sure as hell did see team USA beat Canada here in 2010 and what a game it was.

USA might have only a fraction of the “experience” and “character” of team Canada, but they made that fraction work for every penny.  They were buzzing around the rink most of the night, just running Canada into the ground.  The shots were like 40-20 or so, but that does not tell the story at all.  Canada got something like 15 shots in the last 5 minutes alone as they freaked out and desperately tried to avoid the oncoming 5-3 freight train of a loss headed their way.

But Miller was like a rock, and Canucks were breaking sticks and making crazy shots as the panic set in.  Pure beauty.

The announcers sounded sadder and sadder as the game went on.  It was matched only by how much my smile grew.  And then seeing the news about liquor stores being closed for another night, they decided that right at the end of the game because there was going to be more excessive drinking.

Yea well the good news is it’s easy to find Don Cherry passed out in a ditch, just look for the ugly suit with piss all over it.

What wasn’t talked about as much, but brought great satisfaction to me, was seeing the MEGA DISASTER of an open ice check Ovechkin laid on Jagr, only to see Semin and Malkin seize the opportunity he created and score. He truly is a KV-2. Jagr has treadmarks on him from being rolled over.
