The Leaguers are running down leads. Jean survived, thanks to a call to Ray, and the investigation into her attack leads them to the Suicide Squad. Batman, however, thinks that's a false trail, and that someone else is behind it, as the Squad has nothing to gain. Then, the loved one of another hero receives a threatening letter herself.
